A long floaty nose combined with a powerful poppy contact maximizing short radius “Whale Tail Technology”. A tight 7m trench gouging sidecut. Wide enough to allow you to really put it on a hardpack rail with no toe drag and float pillows like a dream but still narrow enough to be your daily driver all season long. Shortened rocker between your feet with lengthened camber to the tip and tail gives you power and pop on groomers and in the park along with float and freedom to charge through powder. More loaded pressure in the tip and tail than regular C2 for a more aggressive and stable ride.

This board has a naturally wide waist width, a long floaty nose, and a powerful tapered tail that gives it amazing float in powder while still being versatile enough to ride every day.
This is a volume shifted board, and is designed to be ridden 3-6cm shorter than your normal board.
Core: HP - Horsepower
Lighter, environmentally nicer, smoother. Combines 60% Aspen and 40% Paulownia woods with Triax, Biax, and Basalt alloy glass for a super smooth and damp ride with lighter weight.
Base: Sintered Knife Cut
Fast and rugged with maximum wax retention.
Mounting Pattern: 2x4 inserts

Magnetraction - 7 strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.

Keeping it in the family: This year’s T.Rice Orca base “eye patch” resembles that of Southern Resident K-Pod Orca “Tika” (K-33) born
2001. “Tika” is the grandson of female orca “Sequim” (K-12) and his uncle is “Rain Shadow” (K-37 ), the orcas whose eye patches
were used in previous years. His name also means “swift” (in Chinook First Nations language) which is how you’re coming down the
mountain on these boards.
