Board Type: All Mountain - Freeride
All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
A medium to medium-stiff flexing board for all mountain riding. Enjoy a powerful, stable ride, that can still be playful in the park
Ability Level: Intermediate - Advanced
Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Directional Twin
A directional twin snowboard has a symmetrical shape but with a slightly shifted stance, making it ideal for riders who want the versatility of a twin for freestyle, with the added stability of a directional design. It performs well both regular and switch but excels in one direction, offering improved control on varied terrain.
Camber Type: High Camber
The High Camber is engineered for maximum responsiveness, catering to the attacking rider who demands precision. This profile responds 1-to-1 to rider impulses, providing unmatched perfor- mance for those who need quick and exact response from their board. Ideal for advanced riders and those seeking high-speed control, the High Camber is all about precision and power, ensur-ing every move is executed with accuracy.
Width: Standard
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
Board Construction
Topsheet: Triax
Triax fiberglass on a snowboard refers to a fiberglass construction where the fibers run in three directions usually along the length of the board and at an angle. This configuration adds torsional stiffness to the board, enhancing its overall stability and responsiveness. Snowboards with triaxial fiberglass tend to have a more precise and controlled feel, making them suitable for riders who prioritize stability at higher speeds, improved edge hold, and better performance in challenging conditions. Triax fiber is often found in snowboards designed for advanced and aggressive riding styles.
Core: Fluid Core w Y3D
The Fluid Core is made from 50% Poplar and Paulownia wood. Poplar gives it a consistent, energetic feel (flex and pop), and the lighter Paulownia keeps it strong while saving weight. This combination results in a responsive, light, and reliable ride that performs well in all conditions and for any rider.
Base: Sintered
Designed for those who never want to be stuck on a flat cat-track. This high-density, porous base absorbs massive amounts of wax for elite-level glide and durability against hidden sub-surface "surprises."
Additional Features
A Multi-radius sidecut on a snowboard features a blend of multiple radii from tip to tail, creating an elliptical shape. This design offers several performance benefits:
• Consistency: Provides a uniform turning radius across the board’s length.
• Versatility: Excels in various snow conditions.
• Smoother Transitions: Ensures fluid transitions from edge to edge. Overall, the multi-radius sidecut contributes to a well-balanced, user-friendly snowboard design suitable for a wide range of riders and conditions.
