Yes Pick Your Line Men's Snowboard 2027
Yes Pick Your Line Men's Snowboard 2027
Ideal for chasing powder and steep lines.
The PYL is widely regarded as one of the best shapes in snowboarding. Developed over the years by DCP, it’s a freeride board that has your back in bigger terrain and deeper snow, but also loves to freestyle when that’s on the menu. In terms of shape, the PYL maintains a ‘traditional’ width and length - meaning that its designed to be ridden in more traditional (longer) length without losing it’s manoeuvrable & fun personality. It’s premium wood core and carbon stringers (in the tip) make sure you have stability at speed and in chopped up snow. And the Tapered UnderBite edge technology keeps the PYL stable on harder snow.

The Yes Pick your line is regarded as one of the best shapes in snowboarding. Developed over the years by DCP, it's a freeride board that has your back in bigger terrain and deeper snow, but also loves freestyle when that's on the menu. The PYL maints a 'traditional' width and length, meaning that it's designed to be ridden in more traditionl (longer) length without losing it's manoeuvrable & fun personality. It's premium wood core and carbon stringers makes sure you have stability at speed and in chopped up snow. And the tapered UnderBite edge technology keeps the PYL stable on harder snow.
Board Type: All Mountain - Freeride
All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.
Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.
Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
A medium to medium-stiff flexing board for all mountain riding. Enjoy a powerful, stable ride, that can still be playful in the park
Ability Level: Advanced
Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.
Shape: Tapered Directional
A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.
Camber Type: CamRock 1-4-1
With a dominant camber section between the feet for power and stability, and a subtle rocker in the tip and tail for lift, this profile ensures you stay on top of the deep stuff without sacrificing the "snap" needed for aggressive carving.
Width: Standard, Wide
Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.
Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.
Inserts: 2x4 Inserts
These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
Board Construction
Topsheet: Triax
The Triax glass offers a smooth ride while keeping weight low
Laminate: Carbon 1 FR
Strategically placed carbon reinforcements increase torsional response and energy transfer. This means when you load up a turn, the board recoils with a predictable, energetic pop that rockets you into the next transition.
Core: Fluid Core
This lightweight, high-performance core is tuned specifically for freeriding. It provides a damp, composed feel that eats up chop and chatter, keeping your legs fresh when the conditions get "variable."
Base: Sintered
Designed for those who never want to be stuck on a flat cat-track. This high-density, porous base absorbs massive amounts of wax for elite-level glide and durability against hidden sub-surface "surprises."
Additional Features:
- Tapered UnderBite
Most tapered boards lose their grip as the tail narrows, but the PYL solves this. By stepping the sidecut inward at the binding zones, it increases edge leverage and pressure, giving you insane edge hold and drive through the tail while maintaining the effortless float of a powder board.
